Freelancing 101: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Know what you are good at

the very first thing you should do before anything else is finding out what you do best that others may find it hard or annoying to do. it's completely okay if that not related to your profession. let's understand this with a simple example.

Let's say you are a Financial Advisor in your day to day job but you don't like your job that much and you like to draw and paint when in your free times and you are really good at it. others admire your work and often, they ask things like "can you draw a portrait of me?" or "can you paint my book cover?" things like that. Now that is a good entry point to start your freelancing career. but that doesn't mean you shouldn't do freelancing work as a financial advisor. what I mean by this is choose what you love to do the most and start from there.
